Bonnie Burnard's Casino & Other Stories won the Saskatchewan Best Book Award and was shortlisted for the Giller Prize. Her first story collection, Women of Influence, won the Commonwealth Best Books Award. She is also the recipient of the Marian Engel Award, and for two years was on the Giller Prize jury panel. Born in Southern Ontario, she lived for many years in Regina and now lives in London, where she was recently writer-in-residence at the University of Western Ontario. Her latest bestselling novel is A Good House.
