Sharon Butala's acclaimed The Perfection of the Morning remained on bestseller lists for over a year and won the Saskatchewan Non-Fiction Award and the Spirit of Saskatchewan Award, and was nominated for the Governor General's Award. It was followed by another bestseller, Coyote's Morning Cry, and a novel, The Garden of Eden. Sharon has published numerous novels and won the Marian Engel Award. Her latest book is Wild Stone Heart: An Apprentice in the Fields. She lives with her husband, Peter, outside East-end, Saskatchewan.
