Clive Doucet is an urban anthropologist by training and has worked for many years as a public servant at both the provincial and federal levels. He is currently a regional councillor in Ottawa. His literary credits include two novels, a memoir, novellas, several plays and three books of poetry. Clive's most recent work of non-fiction is Notes From Exile: On Being Acadian, and his reading at the Festival marks the launch of his latest poetry collection.
