Michael Harding has written for Film, both in Ireland and abroad, and has received a number of awards for his work, including the Steward Parker Award for Theatre, the Bank of Ireland RTE award for excellence in the arts, and the Hennessy Award for short stories. He was Writer in Association with The National Theatre in 1993 and he was short listed for the Irish Times Aer Lingus Literature Award in 1989. He is the author of two books for Blackstaff Press, Priest and The Trouble with Sarah Gullion. He is a regular contributor to Sunday Miscellany, on Irish Radio, and recently finished a new commissioned play for the Abbey Theatre. Michael lives in Dublin, Ireland.
