Chris Jones was named Canada’s outstanding young journalist while working as a sports writer at the National Post. That experience led him to publish Falling Hard: A Rookie’s Year in Boxing, which was shortlisted in 2001 for the Trillium Book Award. He joined Esquire magazine as a contributing editor and won the 2005 National Magazine Award for Feature Writing for the story that became the basis for Too Far from Home. Chris lives in Ottawa.
