Artemis Leontis is Adjunct Association Professor Modern Greek at the University of Michigan. She is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including the Geoffrey Woodhouse Research Award, Department of Classics, OSU, the Presidential Fellowship, Ohio State University Graduate School, the National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for College Teachers and Independent Scholars. She was the Co-Curator of Cavafy's World, a set of exhibits at the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, University of Michigan Museum of Art and Hatcher Graduate Library Special Collections, and is the author of Topographies of Hellenism: Mapping a Homeland, and Topografies Ellinismou: I Hartografisi tis Patridas. In addition to writing numerous articles she has also edited three volumes including Greece: A Traveler's Literary Companion.
