Erik Lindner is a poet. He was born in The Hague, Holland, in 1968. He has been reading his work on several poetry-festivals in The Netherlands, England, France, Germany and Taiwan. His most recent collection is Tafel ('Table'), published in 2004. In 2003 he compiled the first anthology of Dutch poetry in French translating to appear in France: Le verre est un liquide lent. He has worked as a teacher of creative writing on the Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam and helped to compile a website for his publisher, www.dichterbijdebezigebij.nl. He currently lives in Amsterdam, in the former house of the painter Willem Witsen.
