Leah McLaren, author of The Continuity Girl, is best known for her popular weekly column in The Globe and Mail's Style section, which reaches millions of Canadian readers every week. Prior to returning to Toronto, she was the paper's London arts correspondent. While in the UK her writing was published in The Times, The London Evening Standard, The Sunday Telegraph and The Spectator magazine, for which she wrote a controversial and widely read cover story on the romantic failure of the modern English male. She also wrote The Leah Files, a monthly column in Flare, Canada's top-selling fashion magazine. Leah divides her time between Toronto and a farm in Grafton, Ontario.
