Robyn Sarah was born in New York to Canadian parents and has lived for most of her life in Montréal. She is the author of seven poetry collections, most recently A Day’s Grace (2003), as well as two collections of short stories and a book of essays, Little Eurekas: A Decade’s Thoughts on Poetry (2007). Her writing has published widely, anthologized and broadcast in Canada and the United States. Robyn Sarah’s poems have been included in The Bedford Introduction to Literature and The Norton Anthology of Poetry, and she has participated in the Festival franco-anglais de poésie in Paris and the Oxfam Poetry Series in London. Le tamis des jours, a Selected Poems in French translation (parallel English text), is scheduled for publication in November.
