Peter Sirr was born in Waterford in 1960. Recipient of the Patrick Kavanagh Award in 1982, he has published four collections of poems with Gallery Press: Marginal Zones Talk, Talk, Ways of Falling and The Ledger of Fruitful Exchange. He lived for a number of years in Italy and Holland. Now living in Dublin, he is a frequent poetry reviewer for The Irish Times, editor of the literary magazine Graph and Director of the Irish Writers Centre.
