Eric Walters has published 26 acclaimed and best-selling novels for children and young adults. He has won five children's choice awards and is the only two-time winner of the Ontario Library Association Silver Birch Award. He has won the Ruth Schwartz Award and received honours from the Canadian Library Association Book of the Year, as well as earning UNESCO's International Award for Literature in Service of Tolerance. His latest book, Run, is a blend of fact and fiction, endorsed by the Terry Fox Foundation. Eric lives in Mississauga with his wife, Anita, and children, Christina, Nicholas, and Julia. When not writing or touring the country speaking to school groups, Eric enjoys playing the saxophone and playing or watching soccer and basketball.
