John Woodsworth, originally from Vancouver, has more than forty years of experience in Russian-English translation, from classical poetry to modern novels and short stories. He recently completed the translation of the popular nine-volume Ringing Cedars Series, by contemporary Siberian author Vladimir Megré. Other translations include two Russian-Canadian writers: Mikhail Levitin and Faina Blagodarova, and the Russian-American author Mikhail Sadovsky.
