Edward Riche was a co-creator of and writer for the legendary CBC Radio Comedy “The Great Eastern”. His work in radio features and documentary have received numerous awards. His feature film screenplays include the adaptation of his celebrated novel “Rare Birds”. For television he is best known for his work on “Made In Canada” (“The Industry”, USA) . His novel “The Nine Planets” won both the Winterset and Thomas Raddell awards for fiction. His novel, “Easy To Like” was long listed for the IMPAC Prize. His latest novel, “Today I Learned It Was You” was published in 2016. . His plays include “Possible Maps”, “List of Lights” “To Be Loved”, “The Pillow Trade”, “Hail” and “Dedication”.
