We're saddened, along with the rest of the country, at the loss of Paul Quarrington on January 21, 2010, after a brave fight with cancer. Paul was a frequent Festival guest and a great talent, and he will be deeply missed.
Click here for our Masterclass Session from the fall of 2008, in which Paul discussed screenwriting along with Tom Shoebridge and Judith Keenan. Our Discussion Board is open to thoughts and memories of Paul as well.
The National Post's Afterword is also collecting and posting memories and comments about Paul, his life and influence. The Quarrington Arts Society is a nonprofit organization that supports artists who work in more than one discipline (like Paul himself) and you can contribute in his honour at their website: www.quarringtonartsociety.ca.
Check out photos from the Festival here, and be sure to visit our YouTube channel to watch selections from the readings on video. For more information on our programming check out the Events page. In the meantime please do visit our discussion board, photo archives and audio podcasts.
