Tickets

WHERE TO BUY: Tickets are available in advance through PayPal, or by phone at 613-562-1243. During the Festival, tickets, passes and memberships can be purchased at the box office table on site. The doors and box office open an hour prior to each event. Tickets purchased online will be held for pickup at our box office table before the event.

Tickets and Festival Passes are available in person from the Festival's official bookseller, Nicholas Hoare, at 419 Sussex Drive, or from Collected Works Bookstore, at 1242 Wellington Street W, and Octopus Books at Bank and Third.

Tickets purchased on a credit or debit card will have a $1 convenience charge applied to the total transaction.

CARLETON STUDENTS ATTEND FREE: Present your valid Student ID to receive FREE entry to all events. Bookstores cannot provide these tickets: please email leslie@writersfestival.org to reserve tickets in advance, or bring your ID to the box office table before an event. Please note: once an event sells out, we cannot admit last-minute student passes, so advance reservations are recommended.

LOOKING FOR THE BEST DEAL?

Become a Festival Member with a monthly donation of $20 or more and get free admission to all events year round. Festival Memberships are tax deductible and support our charitable literacy programs. For more information about membership, consult the Community Page.

Festival Passes include all events during either the Spring or Fall Edition (but not solo events throughout the year.) For example, the Spring Festival Pass will cover all events between April 22nd and 27th, 2010.

5 Events for $55: CREATE YOUR OWN SPECIAL PASS! Select any five tickets from our festival line-up for only $55. Present your Five For $55 Pass to exchange for event tickets at the box office table.

Please note: Festival passes and "5 for $55" are non-transferable.

Day Passes are available: attend a full day of programming on a single ticket. Prices to be announced with the Spring Edition schedule.

REFUNDS
Please be advised that refunds will be honoured up to 48 hours in advance of the event.

Parking
There is a monitored city parking structure at 141 Clarence, between Dalhousie and Cumberland, and streetside parking around the building.

Eco TOURISM
Saint Brigid's is a 10 minute walk through the Market from the Rideau Centre and the Mackenzie King OC Transpo station. The #1 bus stops right outside the building (on Murray going east: on Saint Patrick going west.)
