Tickets

WHERE TO BUY: Tickets are available in advance online (scroll down to purchase tickets on this page,) onsite during all Festival events, or by phone at 613-562-1243. Festival Members and Carleton students: to be assured your seat will be held for you, please call or email to reserve in advance. We cannot guarantee seats will be available at the door in the event of a sellout.

DURING THE FESTIVAL, tickets, passes and memberships can be purchased at the box office table on site. The doors and box office open an hour prior to each event.

Tickets purchased on a credit or debit card will have a $1 convenience charge applied to the total transaction.

CARLETON STUDENTS ATTEND FREE: Present your valid Student ID to receive FREE entry to all events (except Jane Goodall and Books & Brunch). Bookstores cannot provide these tickets: please email leslie@writersfestival.org to reserve tickets in advance, or bring your ID to the box office table before an event. Please note: once an event sells out, we cannot admit last-minute student passes, so advance reservations are recommended.

Please be advised that refunds will be honoured up to 48 hours in advance of the event.

Parking
At the Mayfair Theatre, parking is available at the Sunnyside Library parking lot, and on streetside off Bank. At the Library and Archives, evening parking is free, as well as at the Supreme Court parking lot.

Eco TOURISM
The Mayfair Theatre is on the #1 and #7 bus routes. If you prefer a pleasant walk, the theatre is located a block from the Rideau Canal. The Library and Archives can be reached by bus routes #3, 8, 16, 18, 85, 95-99, and STO routes 27 and 40.
